Many of us are using Android Phones and most of us feel comfortable in doing so, but the biggest problem that lies with Android is not unseen, and it is slow Software Updates.
Suppose, we buy a brand new Android Phone, with Android Jelly Bean in it, and it is still after a span of time, it is stuck with the same Android version, where the phone has not received any updates, or it might have a single update with it, which is also not quite useful and their is no support of the respective company towards that model.
Well, in this scenario we are unable to use the latest Android Features, but the bigger problem is that the security of the software of the phone is compromised and is lagging behind.
Now, Whether we blame Google or the phone companies, or the hardware manafacturers, it is not going to work. So, lets know about this system that how these Android Updates work.
Here if we talk about Android Pi, Android Oreo, Android Nougat or any of the Android versions, Google releases the source code of the particular Android version. The hardware manfacturers give their updated processors with new cores and drivers.
Both the objects now goes to the Brands, and after that brands such as Samsung, Nokia and others develop their UI, skin, looks and other features of the phones, then it is send for testing and then again it goes to Google for the clearance and finally then it comes to the hands of customers.

But due to these processes their is delay in the production of the phone to the market, and many times the hardware manafacturers are not able to produce the compatible processors and cores for the software.
At the end, this results in slow updation of Android Versions of Softwares.
The Project Treble came in the market with Android Oreo, and the clear cut system was that, whichever phone comes, out of the box with the brand new Android Oreo, it will by default be getting support of Project Treble but no older versions of software will be getting its support.
All the new Android Phones currently in the market are supporting Project Treble, in which the time which was delayed by the Hardware Manafacturers is cut down, so the mobile brands can directly start working on their code and updation of their device.
With the support of Project Treble, the Android updates will be as fast as possible and a lot of finances and time will be saved.
With this, the system of Android Updates is getting a little better as compared to the older systems and in future it will be more smooth, but in the end it depends on the Hardware Manafacturers that whether they'll give updates or not. Its just that, for them pushing the updates to the customer is now easy. Project Treble will make the system of Android Updates more efficient.
